About Oakmille
Each piece was created from a place of introspection, with the intent to evoke self-reflection through connecting with the subject on canvas. The mission of Oakmille is to create opportunities for you, the viewer to contemplate your own cycles of thought, decisions and reactions to the world around you; to cultivate awareness, self-acceptance and acceptance of others.
Meet the Artist
Camille is a Bay Area raised and Columbus based artist who began expressing herself through creating sketches in high school. She found art to be a healthy outlet, proving to assist with anxiety and processing her experiences while living in East Oakland. Without realizing it, this was the beginning of a relationship with art in which she continued to illustrate the cycles of self-awareness, acceptance and personal growth on paper, aiding in her own personal journey.
